The Elkus, Sisson & Rosenstein, P.C. law firm is pleased to announce that they will be offering up a $1,000 scholarship to go towards the further education of the a student that submits the winning essay. The Elkus, Sisson & Rosenstein, P.C law firm takes great pride in providing legal representation to Sheriff Deputies and other law enforcement officials concerning legal issues ranging from due process rights to civil litigation defense. Since Elkus, Sisson & Rosenstein, P.C. works so closely with legal officials we are happy to offer this scholarship competition to students across the U.S. that are related to law enforcement officials or who are attending school to become an officer of the law and protect and serve citizens of the United States.
Please write an original 400-600 word essay on:
1. Using past experiences and current beliefs, evaluate why you are choosing law enforcement as a career path? Why do you believe you will make a fair and effective law enforcement official? Use specific past experiences and current principals you have to help answer this question.
2. Explain in detail how the fact that your parent (s) being a law enforcement official has positively, and or negatively affected specific aspects of your life? Use detailed examples of past experiences you have had with your parent (s) to help you answer the question.
One winner will be awarded $1000.00 to be used toward your tuition, book or other school expenses.
Submissions must be received by July 1, 2014.
10 essays will be selected as finalists and posted to our site. Now its time to Get Social! The essay that earns the most social media support (tweets, likes, shares, +1 etc.) will be the $1000 winner.
